Pedestrian deaths in London

Approximately 4 pedestrians are killed or seriously injured daily on London roads. The vast majority involve speeding vehicles.

It is most likely the drivers of such vehicles that think cyclists are the bad guys!

RE: Pedestrian deaths in London

If city roads were policed better and ALL road users (cyclists, cars, vans, buses, HGVs & pedestrians) were fined for their wrongdoings, the local authorities could make a fortune.
This would help the councils recuperate their deficits and give them the means to build a better infrastructure resulting in safer roads for all!

So… The war continues! But be aware…
For every cyclist jumping lights, there’s thousands of car drivers speeding.
For every cyclist riding on pavements there’s thousands of cars tailgating.

If a cyclist pulls out in front of a car, the cyclist loses out. If a car pulls out in front of a cyclist the cyclist loses out. A car travels many times the speed of a cyclist and weighs an average of 15 times as much. But still the self-righteous, hypocritical, institutionalised motorists still don’t get it do they!!!
